Different sages have established different Dharmas

প্রভু কহে, __“শ্রুতি, স্মৃতি, যত খষিগণ ৷

সবে “এক”মত নহে, ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ধন্্ম ॥

probhu kahe, — “shruti, smriti, yata rishigan

sabe “eka”-mata nahe, bhinna bhinna dharma”

The Lord said, “The Shrutis, the Smritis, and all the sages are not all of one opinion; they teach different forms of dharma.”

১৮৪। একমত, _অদ্য়-জ্ঞানের ভূমিকায় প্রতিষ্ঠিত সত্যধন্মহ “নিত্য” “সনাতন ও “এক” ; তথায় “উপেয়” বা “সাধ্য: যেমন এক, “উপায়” বা “সাধন’ বা ‘পস্থা’ও তদ্রপ “এক বা তদভিন্ন। “ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ধর্ম্ম*_আত্মদর্শন ছাড়িয়া বহি্দর্শন-মূলে প্রত্যেক জীবের পরস্পর পৃথক্‌ দেহ ও মনের বিশেষ বিশেষ ধর্্ম।

The true dharma established upon the realization of non-dual knowledge is eternal, beginningless, and one. There, just as the goal (upeya or sadhya) is one, so also the means (upaya) and the practice (sadhana) or path, is likewise one, or non-different from that goal. “Different religions” refers to the various characteristics of the different bodies and minds of individual living beings — characteristics arising from an outward vision that has abandoned realization of the self.
